Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center Announces Founding Board of Directors

Orlando, FL, December 11, 2023 — The Rosen Aquatic & Fitness Center (RAFC) is proud to announce 13 outstanding community members will join hotelier and philanthropist Harris Rosen as founding members of the nonprofit’s board of directors. Mr. Rosen serves as president of the RAFC Inc. Board of Directors. In addition to Mr. Rosen, the newly elected board members will serve with Frank Santos, vice president at Rosen Hotels & Resorts and James “Jim” Bina, the director of finance at Rosen Hotels & Resorts.

The new members voted in on December 7th are:

  • Susan Caronia, director of standards at Rosen Hotels & Resorts
  • Angel de la Portilla, president and CEO of Central Florida Strategies
  • Gregory Fornadel, manager of strategic partnerships, ICON Park
  • Lisa Hall, director & general manager of Universal Orlando’s Volcano Bay
  • James “Jim” Hanning, senior vice president, FL North region, Truist Bank
  • Danielle Hodge, CEO and founder, Alma Swim Foundation
  • Dr. Amin Ismail, PhD, president of Unisense LLC
  • Amy Kaufeldt, Fox 35 news anchor
  • Dionna Little, senior employment lawyer, L3Harris Technologies, Inc.
  • Dr. John “Lucky” Meisenheimer, owner, Meisenheimer Dermatology Clinic
  • Brent Nelson, vice president of Greater Orlando Sports Commission
  • Glenn Rosen, director of planning/development, Rosen Hotels & Resorts
  • Jillian Wilkins, owner of Lane 4 Swim School, Inc.

  • With the second-largest meeting center in the southeast in Orlando’s tourism area on IDrive, it makes sense that our indoor/outdoor aquatic center, one of Florida’s largest, be located here as well. We provide the area, which includes Dr. Phillips, access to our non-profit, state-of-the-art facility. Families, local community members, and out-of-town visitors are all welcome to enjoy the gym, pools, fitness classes, and personal facilities making us a perfect aquatic center for your next swim meet or for improving your health.
